About Lena

Lena Podesta lives at the bottom of a volcano in the Pacific Northwest with three other weirdos and her furry sidekick. When she isn’t drawing, making animated cartoons, and writing silly stories, she can usually be found talking to logs, singing to spiders, and chatting up the clouds. She is never bored.

More boring, but also true bio: Lena Podesta has been working as an artist in the animation industry and as an illustrator for more than two decades. Her work has included picture book illustration, editorial illustration, character development, design for animation, directing, story boarding, and character animation. In addition to writing and illustrating picture books, she is currently an animator on The Simpsons.
